Logging into WordPress

Open Your Browser – Launch your preferred web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).

Go to the Login Page – Enter your WordPress website’s login URL. This is typically:

Enter Your Credentials – Provide your username or email address and password.

Click “Log In” – Press the login button to access the WordPress dashboard.
Overview of the Editor Dashboard
Once logged in, an Editor user has access to specific features for managing content but cannot modify site settings.

Dashboard Home – Displays an overview of recent activity and quick links.

Posts – Create, edit, delete, and manage blog posts.

Media – Upload and manage images, videos, and other media files.

Pages – Manage static pages (like About or Contact pages).

Comments – Approve, reply to, or delete user comments.

Appearance (Limited Access) – Typically, Editors cannot modify themes or widgets.

Plugins (Limited Access) – Editors usually cannot install or manage plugins.

Users (Limited Access) – Editors cannot add or modify user roles.

Tools (Limited Access) – Some tools may be available depending on site settings.
Managing Content as an Editor

Creating Posts and Pages – Click “Add New” under Posts or Pages, write content, and publish.

Editing Content – Use the Block Editor (Gutenberg) or Classic Editor to modify text, add media, and format pages.

Managing Comments – Approve or delete comments from users to maintain discussion quality.
